Media: US And China Hold Talks In Geneva To End Trade War

Negotiations will continue through May 11.

On Saturday, May 10, the U.S. and China at the ministerial level began talks in Geneva on the settlement of the trade war.

This is reported by Reuters and DW.

It is noted that the talks lasted about two hours. The American side was represented by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. The Chinese delegation was led by China's State Council representative, Vice Premier He Lifeng.

The meeting in Geneva was also attended by U.S. Trade Commissioner Jamison Greer.

According to Reuters, the venue of the talks at the Swiss diplomatic center was not made public. However, eyewitnesses saw the two delegations returning to the residence of the Swiss ambassador to the UN.

Media sources did not reveal details of the meetings, but said the talks would continue on May 11.
