Elections In Poland: Leaders' Reaction To Exit Polls Appeared

In Poland today, May 18, the first round of presidential elections took place. At 22:00 Minsk time, polling stations closed across the country, writes onet.pl.
According to Ipsos exit polls for TVN, TVP and Polsat, the Civic Coalition candidate Rafal Trzaskowski is leading in the first round with a minimal margin of 30.8 percent, while the second is the Law and Justice candidate Karol Nawrocki with 29.1 percent.
Third place went to the leader of the "Confederation" Slavomir Menczen - 15.4%.
The candidate from the "Civic Coalition" addressed the voters:
- I am very happy that I won the first round, but there is a lot of work ahead. We need determination, your votes, convincing everyone," Trzaskowski said during an election night in Sandomierz.
Karol Nawrocki, the Law and Justice candidate, addressed the third-place Confederation leader:
- I want to address one of the candidates, Slavomir Mentzen. The time has come to save Poland. We both want Poland to be sovereign, strong, rich and safe," said Nawrocki.
