The United States, along with Europe, will "not hesitate" to strengthen sanctions against Russian Federation if Kremlin ruler Putin does not negotiate peace talks "in good faith."

As U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CBS News in an interview, President Donald Trump has made that very clear. Now, according to the U.S. Secretary, we have to see what happens when both sides sit down at the negotiating table:
