Trump's Son Says He May Run For US President

U.S. President Donald Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr has not ruled out that he may run for president. He said this during a visit to Qatar on May 21, Reuters reports.

Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum, he was asked whether he would run for office and "take the reins" after his father leaves office. According to Trump Jr. he has "that calling," he said.

"The answer is, I don't know, maybe someday. You know, that calling is there. I'm always going to be very active in terms of being an ardent supporter of these things. I think my father really changed the Republican Party," he said.

A faint applause was reportedly heard in the audience after his response. Trump Jr. also noted that he was honored to see some people agree with his views.
