The Czech Defense Minister Was Involved In A Traffic Accident

The accident occurred in the center of Prague.

Czech Defense Minister Jana Černohová was involved in a traffic accident on May 27. This was reported by Novinky with reference to the police and the press service of the country's defense ministry.

"A military police vehicle was moving with its beacons on when another civilian car crashed into it," Prague police spokeswoman Kristina Zelinkova told reporters.

Czech police said two cars collided at the intersection, causing streetcar traffic to be suspended for about ten minutes.

"I can confirm that today [Tuesday] afternoon the minister's car was involved in an accident in the center of Prague. No one involved was injured," added Czech Defense Ministry spokesman David Šima.

The Czech Defense Minister, in accordance with his position, has an official military vehicle and is guarded by military police.
