Zelensky Jokingly Answered What Europe Should Do For Ukraine

The key to victory is not just military or financial support.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky voiced what Europe should do to help Ukraine win. The head of state mentioned US President Donald Trump.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Zelensky during the PACE meeting.

Zelensky noted that the key to Ukrainian victory is not only military or financial support, but strategic unity of the entire democratic world, particularly between the EU and the US.

"Do you know President Trump? We need strong ties with him. We need unity between Europe and the United States, and then we will win," Zelensky said, causing smiles in the audience.

It is not the first time that Vladimir Zelensky emphasizes the importance of transatlantic unity in the fight against Russian aggression.

The Ukrainian president paid special attention to the need for tougher sanctions against Russia, emphasizing that the West must act decisively:

"To reduce Russian appetites, we need to impose sanctions. As far as possible: on banks, the energy sector, components for the defense industry. This applies to Europe, Asia, China, Taiwan and other countries where companies still sell components to Russia that they use to produce missiles," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president said that without these technological components, Russia would not be able to produce the amount of weapons that are launched daily on Ukrainian cities. He urged the world not just not to help the enemy - but to actively block its war machine.
