A Russian Government Plane Secretly Flew Into The U.S.

It is not yet known who is on board.

A Russian government Il-96 airplane has landed in the United States. Officially, no visits by the Russian delegation to the United States have been reported.

According to data from the air travel tracking service Flightradar24, a Russian government plane with the flight number RA-96018 departed from Moscow, landed in St. Petersburg, and then flew to the United States.

The service recorded that the plane landed at JFK Airport in New York on June 25 at 15:27 local time (22:27 Minsk time). A few hours later, the plane flew to Washington, D.C., where it landed at 20:56 the same day (i.e. 03:56 June 26 Minsk time). It is not known who is on board.
