SBU Hits Crimean Bridge For Third Time, Partially Undermining Supports

Details of the new operation have been revealed.

The Security Service of Ukraine has conducted another unique operation and hit the Crimean bridge for the third time.

It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the SBU.

According to the SBU, the operation lasted several months. First, SBU agents booby-trapped the supports of the Crimean Bridge, and today, without civilian casualties, the first explosive device was activated at 04:44 am.

The underwater underpinnings of the bottom-level supports were severely damaged in the explosion. The SBU notes that 1,100 kilograms of TNT equivalent explosives were used. In fact, the bridge is in an emergency condition.

The chairman of the SBU, Lieutenant General Vasyliy Malyuk personally supervised the operation and coordinated its planning.

"God loves the Trinity, and the SBU always brings the planned to the end and never repeats itself. Earlier we hit the Crimean bridge twice in 2022 and 2023. So today we continued this tradition already underwater. No illegal objects of the Russian Federation have any place on the territory of our state. Therefore, the Crimean Bridge is an absolutely legitimate target, especially considering that the enemy used it as a logistical artery to supply its troops. Crimea is Ukraine, and any manifestations of occupation will receive our tough response," Malyuk said.
