The Head Of The Ukrainian Defense Ministry Summarized The Results Of "Ramstein"

Kiev will get naval aid packages, hundreds of thousands of drones and air defense.

The 28th meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine's defense took place on June 4, where the allies announced new military aid packages. Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov summarized the results.

"We have significant results - in 2025 security assistance will exceed the figures of all previous years of full-scale war," the defense chief wrote.

After the meeting, Ukraine's allies announced new aid packages and other support steps:

→ The UK announced record drone aid - 350 million pounds, which will enable the transfer of 100,000 drones to Ukraine in 2025. In total, British military support amounts to 4.5 billion pounds in 2025, of which 247 million pounds will be used to train Ukraine's Armed Forces.

→ Germany has approved a new military aid package worth 5 billion euros, which has already been approved by the Bundestag. It includes financing the production of long-range weapons in Ukraine, the transfer of air defense systems, weapons and ammunition.

→ The Netherlands is providing a €400 million aid package that includes a mine countermeasures ship, boats and naval drones.

→ Belgium has announced a long-term initiative. It involves annual aid to Ukraine of 1 billion euros by 2029, as well as the transfer of a mine countermeasures ship.

→ Norway provides $700 million for drones with a focus on supporting Ukraine's defense industry, $50 million to the NSATU Trust Fund.

→ Canada provides $45 million for drones, REB assets, IT solutions, and Coyote and Bison armored vehicles.

→ Sweden allocates 440 million euros for international programs to purchase artillery ammunition, drones, and other weapons for Ukraine.

The previous Ramstein meeting was held on April 11. It announced a record amount of aid to Ukraine - more than 21 billion euros (about $23.85 billion).
