Banks Introduce Currency Innovations In Belarus

Some banks have had currency changes. "Zerkalo" compiled a selection of such innovations.
"Technobank" introduced changes in the exchange of worn-out, damaged, but preserved signs of paymentability of banknotes - dollars, euros and Russian rubles from May 20. The fee is now 9% of the transaction amount (minimum - Br5). To use this service, bank employees should have no doubts about the authenticity of banknotes.
Technobank also has an action for money transfers in yuan until the end of August this year. The bank's commission is $35 for 6 months, including the month of account opening. To take advantage of the offer, one should activate one of the service packages.
Bank BelVEB has reduced interest rates on some deposits, including foreign currency ones. For example, the rates on the deposit "Irrevocable deposit (offline)" in dollars fell by 0.19, 0.39 and 0.59 percentage points - to 0.01% per annum for options with terms of 7, 13 and 24 months, respectively.
"Sber Bank" announced that from June 26 will introduce additional remuneration for transfers in Russian rubles to India - 1.5% of the transfer amount.
"Paritetbank" will have a novelty in transfers from June 13. Thus, now it is possible to make transfers in Turkish lira at 2.5% of the transfer amount (minimum - 7000 lira, maximum - 24 000 lira). Such transfers can be made from the accounts of customers, opened in Belarusian rubles, dollars, euros and Russian rubles.
We remind you that May 19, Belgazprombank increased the limit of foreign currency cash withdrawal from its cards in cash offices and ATMs of the same financial institution. Thus, up to $20 thousand in equivalent per day, and up to $100 thousand per month.
